Acadia’s Singing Theatre Production Ensemble is an auditioned ensemble that performs two shows a year. We alternate from Musical Theatre to Opera genres giving the student ample opportunity to sample new vocal experiences. Typically, the ensemble consists of 20 singers who are studying Applied Voice but it is not exclusive and the audition process is the deciding factor. Some past performances include: “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown”, “Too Many Sopranos”, “The B Boys of Opera” (excerpt program), “Little Women” and “The Games People Play in Musicals: excerpts from Chess and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” and “Scenes from Street Scenes”, to name a few.
