The Society of Acadia Music Students is a ratified student organization within the Acadia School of Music which serves two purposes.
The first is that we provide programming for music students. This includes a variety of social, and educational activities, such as jam sessions, coffee houses, and workshops. Our second purpose is that we serve as a bridge between students and faculty. If students have any concerns about their education, they can bring them to us, and we communicate them to the Director through weekly meetings. The President and Vice-president also attend the faculty meetings and vote on behalf of students.
