Interests and Expertise:
- Percussion and Drumset, I am first and foremost a drummer and percussionist. I love performing.
- Music Performance & Production
- Creativity, Cultural Responsiveness
- Apart from drumming, I have developed a secondary career as a music producer and get to work with multiple artists across musical genres. This is a collaborative and incredibly fulfilling space.
- I am also comfortable performing and teaching across a wide range of musical styles.
Community & Ensemble Involvement:
- I currently participate in the EC3 Trio with Multi Juno winning pianist Adrean Farrugia and bassist Tom Easley; The Sundries country music band; MNM Blues Trio; Regular Friday concerts at Troy Restaurant.
- I am currently producing/recording singles and albums for Freya Milliken, Moira and Claire, EC3 Trio, Michael Dalton and Pat Lepoidevin.
- I am a board member of the Canadian Percussion Network developing a national identity for percussion research.
Fun Facts:
- Something I enjoy about working at Acadia is creating challenging, highly self-reflective spaces where students discover versions of themselves, they did not know existed.
- I have a precious Yellow Lab named Winnie. You will likely meet her. I love being on the ocean and making music in beautiful natural spaces. I really enjoy watching humans' triumph through deep challenges.
