Acadia ALERT - Campus Closed (Weather)

Today, Tuesday, January 27, 2026, Acadia University will remain closed, with the exception of residences and Wheelock Dining Hall, due to the current campus and travel conditions. Wheelock Dining Hall may adjust their hours and any change in hours will be communicated through Residence Life.

Employees and students are not expected to come to campus and only employees deemed essential are required to report to work. Non-essential employees are not expected to work during the closure. Any events scheduled for today will be postponed or cancelled.

Updates will be posted on www.acadiau.ca and pre-recorded on Acadia’s Information Line: 902-585-4636 (585-INFO) and on 585 phone system voicemail. If you need emergency-related information, please contact the Department of Safety and Security by dialing 88 on all 585-phone systems, or by calling 902-585-1103.

Interests and Expertise: 

  • Percussion and Drumset, I am first and foremost a drummer and percussionist. I love performing.
  • Music Performance & Production
  • Creativity, Cultural Responsiveness
  • Apart from drumming, I have developed a secondary career as a music producer and get to work with multiple artists across musical genres. This is a collaborative and incredibly fulfilling space.
  • I am also comfortable performing and teaching across a wide range of musical styles. 

Community & Ensemble Involvement: 

  • I currently participate in the EC3 Trio with Multi Juno winning pianist Adrean Farrugia and bassist Tom Easley; The Sundries country music band; MNM Blues Trio; Regular Friday concerts at Troy Restaurant.
  • I am currently producing/recording singles and albums for Freya Milliken, Moira and Claire, EC3 Trio, Michael Dalton and Pat Lepoidevin.
  • I am a board member of the Canadian Percussion Network developing a national identity for percussion research. 

Fun Facts:  

  • Something I enjoy about working at Acadia is creating challenging, highly self-reflective spaces where students discover versions of themselves, they did not know existed.
  • I have a precious Yellow Lab named Winnie. You will likely meet her. I love being on the ocean and making music in beautiful natural spaces. I really enjoy watching humans' triumph through deep challenges.
