On Sunday, March 23, the Acadia University Singers will present their spring concert, "Teachings of the Water."
Rooted in climate activism, this concert will feature a diverse program of music reflecting on humanity's deeply intertwined relationship with water - culminating in a performance of T. Patrick Carrabré's "The Teachings of the Water." Sung in the Squamish language, "The Teachings of the Water" is centered on five water teachings, highlighting the key role that Indigenous women play in water protection and in teaching Indigenous ways of knowing to the wider population.
This concert begins at 3pm in the Festival Theatre. Admission is by freewill donation at the door.
