Acadia University School of Music welcomes soprano Deantha Edmunds as our Artist in Residence from November 27 to December 3, 2023.  Come meet and/or enjoy a performance by Deantha - Canada's first Inuk professional classical singer.

On Thursday, November 30, the Acadia School of Music Concert & Lecture Series will offer a lecture-recital by Deantha Edmunds.

In this presentation, Deantha will sing and share stories about meaningful repertoire that has been part of her journey to become Canada’s first Inuk professional classical singer.  

Deantha’s visit to Acadia is made by possible by a Harrison McCain Visiting Professor Award and the Acadia School of Music gratefully acknowledges this support.

This lecture-recital will begin at 1:00pm in DENTON HALL.
