ACADIA ALERT - Delayed Campus Opening (Weather)

Acadia University will delay opening campus on Monday, January 19, 2026 until 1:00pm. All classes starting at 1:00pm and later will continue as scheduled. Conditions on campus will be assessed throughout the morning and if there is a need to remain closed a follow up message will be sent.

Employees and students are not expected to come to campus until it opens. Residences will be accessible, and Wheelock Dining Hall will be open.

AUSOM Concert Series - Deantha Edmunds

On Thursday, November 30, the Acadia School of Music Concert & Lecture Series will offer a lecture-recital by Deantha Edmunds.

In this presentation, Deantha will sing and share stories about meaningful repertoire that has been part of her journey to become Canada’s first Inuk professional classical singer.  

Deantha’s visit to Acadia is made by possible by a Harrison McCain Visiting Professor Award and the Acadia School of Music gratefully acknowledges this support.

This lecture-recital will begin at 1:00pm in DENTON HALL.
