AUSOM Concert Series - Penderecki String Quartet (FTB)
On Thursday, September 12, the Acadia School of Music Concert & Lecture Series presents the Penderecki String Quartet.
Described by Fanfare Magazine as “an ensemble of formidable power and keen musical sensitivity” and celebrating 30 years as Laurier University’s Quartet-in-Residence, the Penderecki Quartet is thrilled to return to Acadia and perform works by Prokofiev, Haydn, and Acadia alumna Carmen Braden (“The Raven Conspiracy”). In this presentation, they will discuss these works which they will perform later in the evening for the Acadia Performing Arts Series, with demonstrations and Q & A throughout.
This event begins at 1:00pm in FESTIVAL THEATRE.
