  • Vice-President of the Nova Scotia Chapter of the Canadian Music Competition (CMC)

While my academic background is rooted in performance, research has also become an important part of my work, particularly in exploring how we learn, practice, and develop as musicians.
 
As part of this intersection, I've presented research at the 37th International Society of Music Education (ISME) World Conference (2026) and Canadian Federation of Music Teachers' Association (CFMTA) National Conference (2025). This work focused on the neuropsychology of musical practice, particularly the development and application of frameworks designed to optimize learning and retention.
 
Fun Facts:
  • I completed all of my post-secondary studies at Francophone institutions, learning the language along the way. I really appreciate learning through immersion and the growth that can come through that process.
  • I love learning about anything, and finding the connections to my own areas of interest – from psychology and biomechanics, to finances and technology.
  • I love cooking and hosting – basically, sharing with others!
