School of Music

Interests and Expertise: 

• I collaborate with soloists (instrumentalists and singers) as an accompanist, coach, and recital partner.
• I also have specific experience as a pianist in larger group settings as a chamber musician, choral accompanist, and opera repetiteur. 

Community & Ensemble Involvement: 

• I have had the privilege to collaborate in a professional setting with many of my colleagues from Acadia - to include Tristan De Borba, Paula Rockwell, Christianne Rushton, Eileen Walsh, Jack Chen and Cindy Thong.
• I teach piano to 30 students, ages 6-76 in the Wolfville area. I love this work, introducing young children to music through piano lessons, encouraging older students in the pursuit of excellence or connecting with adults who are often rekindling a love of music from the past. I have built a wonderful community and many wonderful relationships through my growing studio. 

Fun Facts: 

• During the school year I unwind by baking cookies, cupcakes, cakes, and share them with others!
• I also love to sing and have been in a choir since I was a young child. Currently, I sing with the Manning Chapel Choir here at Acadia.
• In the spring/summer season I love to spend time outdoors, hiking, camping, or on the water in a kayak.
