AUSOM Concert & Lecture Series: Kenneth Tse & Casey Dierlam-Tse

On Thursday, February 6, the Acadia School of Music Concert & Lecture Series presents a saxophone and piano recital by Kenneth Tse and Casey Dierlam Tse.
 
Kenneth Tse and Casey Dierlam Tse will perform a diverse recital of music for saxophone and piano, featuring music from Baroque, French Impressionistic, and Contemporary composers. This wide array of music showcases the beauty, dexterity, and virtuosity of both soprano and alto saxophones, while encompassing the many different styles of classical saxophone.
 
This event begins at 1:00pm in DENTON HALL.
 
Concert & Lecture Series events are free and all are welcome to attend – please join us!

AUSOM Concert & Lecture Series: Horn Quartet

On Thursday, February 27, the Acadia School of Music Concert & Lecture Series presents a recital by the Harbourside Horn Quartet.
 
This dynamic new ensmble will present an exciting program of horn quartet music, showcasing the wide-ranging tonal and expressive possibilities that are unique to the horn. The program will feature music by JS Bach, Stephen Sondheim, Florence Price, and a hunting horn chorus by Russian composer, Nikolai Tcherepnin.
 
The Harbourside Horn Quartet is comprised of horn players Carys Sutherland, Julie Cuming, Mary Lee, and Natalie Alcorn.
 
This event begins at 1:00pm in DENTON HALL AUDITORIUM
