Yes please. We welcome hearing your creative side!

May I perform an excerpt of something, but not the whole piece?

Absolutely. We want to get to know you – so 12 -16 bars of something you love is wonderful.

Who will be at my audition?

Your AUSOM faculty looks forward to hearing your audition, and we will be there to welcome you!

May I request an accompanist for my audition?

100%! All students will have access to our collaborative pianist for their audition.

May I showcase electronic music?

Fantastic! We enjoy supporting all types of music.

May I play a few different instruments in my audition?

Please do! Multi-instrumentalists are some of our favorite people.

May I share pre-recorded materials?

Yessir! Please send any links (youtube, spotify, dropbox) that you have.

May I bring my family to my audition day?

Bring them! We love moms, dads, siblings, and grandma!
