Music as a Second Major
Are you a musician with a Clark Kent complex, who longs to save the environment by day and rock the stage by night? Follow your passion – all of your passions – by combining your musical studies with any other degree program, such as Earth and Environmental Studies, Chemistry, or English. Ignite your [superhuman] potential by taking Music as Second Major; our flexible program design allows you to combine music with any other degree offered at Acadia. Your dual pathway will include courses in music theory, history, musicianship, and applied study on your instrument as well as opportunities to participate in ensembles.
Mathematics and Statistics with Music (BSc.)
If your love of music exists in tandem with your fascination for numbers, then this is the program for you. Students in this degree program complete their Bachelor of Science degree focused in Math with a second major in Music. An audition to the School of Music is required to be accepted into this pathway.

Community Development
Does your love of music exist in with your desire to work in community leadership? Community Development and Music are piloting a student experience that allows for a student to choose CODE as their first degree and Music as their second degree. As both programs are heavily focused in experiential learning, community engagement, and creating individual educational experiences this combination may lead to careers in community music making, or as an arts administrator, or program developor.
